Haggai is a lifelong advocate helping the most vulnerable in our society. After earning a Masters of Social Work from New York University he embarked on a career providing direct services to various populations in New York City and Austin, Texas including Nazi Victims, Elder Abuse Victims, and Blood Cancer Patients and Survivors. Most recently he managed the Permanent Supportive Housing Program at Front Steps, providing supportive housing for chronically homeless individuals in Austin. Currently, Haggai serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Front Steps, the organization that manages the Austin Resource Center for the Homeless. He’s also a member of the Board of Directors of SHARE The Project, Inc. which is a community service group invested in sharing students’ time in acts geared to making a difference in the larger community. He’s been involved advocating for the well being of our neighbors experiencing homelessness in Austin for the past four years. Helping those in need is a passion for Haggai.
