Seeking protection, Steven entered a shelter, which eventually led him to Texas. However, the high hotel rates and cost of living quickly became untenable, pushing him further into homelessness.
Feeling afraid and uncertain, Steven reached out to U.S. Vets, which connected him with Front Steps.
