An Evening of Philanthropy

In an inspiring evening of philanthropy and compassion, Front Steps recently hosted a special event to raise awareness about homelessness in Austin. This exclusive nonprofit event, held at The Edge Rooftop in Austin, drew in community members, local leaders, and advocates. Additionally, the event highlighted the pressing issues faced by our city’s homeless population and set the stage for our upcoming Gala. Our first annual Elevation Gala promises to further our mission of “creating a pathway home through shelter, affordable housing, and community education.”

What went on..

This nonprofit event was marked by its intimate setting overlooking the picturesque downtown Austin landscape. To complement the evening, our attendees enjoyed an evening of community and discovery with light refreshments and delicious food. This inspiring atmosphere allowed for meaningful and solution-focused conversations on the complexities surrounding homelessness. In fact, instead of traditional large-scale activities, we facilitated small-group and one-on-one discussions that allowed attendees to delve deeply into the issues at hand. Our Front Steps board members and advocates led the conversations by sharing their insights and experiences on a personal level. Above all, this event served as a testament to the power of community engagement and collective action.

Where we’re going..

As we reflect on the success of our event, we are excited to shift focus toward our upcoming Gala. The Elevation Gala fundraising event, scheduled for November 10th, is designed to elevate our efforts and make a community-wide impact. It’s an opportunity for supporters, donors, and advocates to celebrate community and a collective commitment to improving the lives of neighbors experiencing homelessness. Furthermore, it promises an evening of elegance and purpose. Meanwhile, as we look forward to the Gala, we remain committed to driving positive change and supporting those in need.
